A GOOD NETBOOK APPLIANCE : DELL INSPIRON MINI IM12-2870 12.1-INCH RED NETBOOK (Flash Bios Acer Aspire One)

I bought my cherry red Dell mini 12 two weeks ago, directly from Dell. (it was a scratch and Dent "model), I was looking for a cheap, small laptops, light and quiet to surf the web / on-line videos and travel time. I even find the Linux operating system. The Mini 12 Dell's answer to these needs. It is easy to configure and I had no problems with the Linux operating system and software that comes with it. There was a right amount of "upgrade" that I downloaded (over 250 MB!) When I logged online, but if you have a broadband connection that is not a big problem. I've seen the videos on Hulu and YouTube, and they work very well. I open MS Office files with Open Office package that works well. The big plus here is the 12 "screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800. You can view a whole page on this resolution without scrolling (something that you can have with the smaller 9 "and 10" models). I also have the 6 cell battery that I use for 4-5 hours on a tank
