If you are looking for a perfect small computer for net surfing and light computing this is the one. Easy to take anywhere and connects to everything within range.
I purchased this netbook in advance of going to a professional conference one month ago and I’m thrilled with its performance. The battery lasts nearly as long as they say (somewhere between 7-8 hours) although less long depending on what applications you are running. The keyboard is quite large enough for easy touch-typing, and the machine runs quietly. It is sufficiently slim that you can put it in a largish handbag and take it just about anywhere.
I ordered a mini NB205 with atom N280 Intel processor. It has 250G hard drive, built in web camera, several USB2 slots, an SD slot for the digital camera card, a full size keyboard, runs Win 7 starter, and is black, for about 0. I have had it for 2 months, and have been traveling most of that time, though I had a week to set it up before we left. I am very satisfied with it, especially it portability and functionality. I don’t do graphics-intensive stuff. I do WiFi email, some web surfing, Office stuff, Skype, some Bible software, and save my pictures. The only thing I am not very satisfied with is the sound quality of Skype calls, but I expected that based on reviews I read before buying it. Probably I would be happy with a headset, but then my wife cannot join the conversation with grandchildren. I still have well over 200G of space on my HD. I charge it for an hour or so in the morning after I get up, and that is usually enough for use throughout the day. I have had not problems with it. I figured out how to load software from DVDs via my laptop which is part of my home network. I have not noticed any limitations with the OS; my other PCs run XP. I recommend it for anyone who has a similar use profile.
Amazing quality finish. Battery life exceeded my expectations, between 8 and 11 hours and no lost charge when off.

2 downs are touchpad could have been slightly bigger, and screen res could have been 768 high instead of 600. Otherwise everything else is perfect.
Great computer, have noticed no problems with cruz’in the net. Little choppy with movies when the processor is throttled back (automatic when switched to battery power, but easy to change back) Love the keyboard and bluetooth and everything else about it!

EXCELENT product and good price $$$$ Im happy with my new pc Sony Vaio and the service of amazon is excelent to good deal ……guys buy in amazon you can fine everything with good price and products thank you.
When I first purchased this product about a month ago I was unaware that when it comes with Windows 7 Starter that you would have to fork over .00 to have the full version installed… The reason for this is since this Netbook does not have in internal DVD/CD drive you are required to use an external.. BUT… You cannot use the external DVD/CD player until you purchase the upgrade to the Full version of Windows 7… If i would have known this i would have used the money to purchase a larger quicker machine.. Don’t get me wrong for the small size is great and looks sharp, it is just that i had to upgrade and support Microsoft just a little bit more… Thanks Bill.
Overall even after the purchase of the upgrade i am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend if you need a small devise that you can nearly fit into your pocket, if you can adjust to the 90% keyboard and 10.1″screen. Hope this helps…
Oh and one other thing, the battery last a good while, i would say with normal surfing and word docs open around 5.5 - 6 hours…. Not bad for something this small.
My 9 year old daughter loves this netbook. The size, look, and feel are great for her. There’s no office software included although a trial of MS office is pre-installed. Plan on buying the home and student version of office for kids’ schoolwork. The battery life seems very good, at least 5 hours or so. Speed is very good but boot up takes a little time (although better than windows vista). There are a lot of pre-installed offers for various services. I’d prefer that the didn’t put so much junk on the computer by default.
