Weighing barely two pounds, the Aspire one, a mobile Internet device ideal for traveling. This little notebook is the new processor Intel Atom, which has enabled the new generation of netbooks powered brighter, but much stronger than its predecessors. The Intel Atom Processor Acer Aspire uses only 2.5 watts of power, much less than the 35 watts of the Intel Core 2 Duo processor at regular laptops. These low-powerConsumption translates to longer battery life. The processor also consists of a 533 MHz front side bus and 512 KB L2 cache that is optimized for fast connection to mobile applications.
The Acer Aspire One comes with the Windows XP Home Edition, which allows you to surf the Internet, documents, photos, enjoy web-cam chats and many other Internet applications. The high-speed hard drive with 120 GB you can store large amounts of music, videos andDocuments on the netbook, and if that's not enough, you can easily upgrade the memory with an external SD card.
The netbook model also comes with MMC, RS-MMC, MS, MS Pro, headphone, microphone-in, SD card reader and built-in stereo speakers. The 8.9-inch WXGA CrystalBrite LED backlit display ensures great picture and the operating system with Windows Live applications such as Windows Live Messenger and Windows Live Mail accepted.
